He's Here!

Thomas Alexander is here! He was 7 lbs. 15 oz. and 20 3/4" long! He is absolutely beautiful and looks identical to Caroline when she was born! Bonnie did so great and was amazing! Thank you all for praying all the time for her and her family! Prayers are what are getting her through each day and please continue praying! I'll let her give you all the amazing details! What a special day!

  15. Oh, Bonnie, he is so precious. Words cannot explain the joy in my heart even as tears pour down my face. He is here. He is really, really here. What a sweet gift on a special day. I was so fidgety during in-service. I checked my phone and e-mail any chance I could. Then when Dr. Rollins walked up and had a paper in his hand, I just knew. He announced it to the teacher crown just moments before we were dismissed...what incredible timing. And fitting. I am so happy. Know that the prayers will continue because you have a very new "normal" to adjust to. And you have SOOOO many people who love you and are here to help. Call on me/them anytime you need to! By the way, your smile in the picture...it reaches your eyes.

  16. Congratulations!!! I lose track of the dates, but all of the sudden I thought "The 17th??? Thomas should be here!!!"
So incredibly happy for you that he shares that birthday with his daddy...what an amazing legacy it sounds like Thomas has left for little Thomas (and Caroline and you, of course!) and the fact that baby Thomas will always share that special day with his daddy...there just aren't words for how wonderfully appropriate that is.

  49. Bonnie:
What a special blessing to have a sweet little boy on Thomas' birthday.
I browsed through to see the nursery.
The Sail Boat shadow box is beautiful. I knew the Culps were all
sailors at heart but I did not know that Dr. Culp could carve like that.
Tell him I said it was great. Your name remains on my frig door prayer list.
Thanking and praising God that all is well for now.
